I think teachers care that you're learning something in a good environment. They're the ones who are teaching the class. They're the people who are assigning the book assignments. They should be the number one decision-makers on what textbooks to use.

Teacher voice is so important in the adoption of curriculum. It has to make kids think providing those high-quality opportunities for them to critically think increases engagement, but also it increases their willingness to learn more to go further and even take their learning outside of the classroom.
