Marcus is a Lead, Review for Mathematics at EdReports, bringing over 15 years of experience as a classroom teacher and mathematics consultant. He has partnered with districts and state leaders to guide standards-aligned review processes, support curricular adoption and implementation, and strengthen instructional coherence through professional learning and leadership coaching. His classroom roots in project-based learning ground his deep belief in instruction that is engaging, relevant, and student-centered. Marcus earned his B.S. in Middle Childhood Education from the University of Dayton and an M.Ed. in Education Administration from Grand Valley State University. Outside of work, he seeks out adventure through backpacking, camping gravel biking and fly fishing.
