Ava Fruin

Ava Fruin is the Lead, Product Manager at EdReports, where she leads R&D, experimentation, and validation for new product solutions that advance EdReports’ mission and help educators make informed decisions about high-quality instructional materials.

Ava brings more than 15 years of experience across education, learning, and technology. Prior to joining EdReports, she held leadership roles in product, learning experience, and education at Product School, General Assembly, Meta, Uber, and Cengage, where she focused on designing products, programs, and experiences that help people learn and grow. She began her career in education and has worked with learners and educators in a variety of settings.

Ava also serves as an elected trustee on the Larkspur-Corte Madera School District Governing Board, where her work has deepened her commitment to strong public schools and to ensuring educators and students have the resources they need to thrive.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ava earned a B.A. from UCLA and an M.A. in Education from the University of San Francisco. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, collecting vinyl records, tackling her latest baking or craft project, and staying involved in her local community.
